In year 3...
  • SWOPERS sold 80% of their year-3 mops, gave away all but 7,640 of their combined year-2 inventory, and sold 50% of their combined year-1 inventory
  • MOPCO sold 70% of their year-3 mops, 90% of their year-2 mops, and 90% of their combined inventory of year-1 mops.

And the Winner (after liquidation and final chance cards) was...

SWOPERS with a final balance of about $551,000. Mopco had a final balance of around $25,000.
Technically, neither team came out "ahead" since they began the competition with $600,000 (really $1,200,000.00 if you consider that the final two teams were the results of two companies that had each begun with $600,000.00).
"Winning" in capitalism is NOT easy!
